Keen beer lovers speculate about differences between Czech Pils and
German Helles beers: Pils is hop-focused and herbal; Helles on the other
hand is malty with low bitterness, and so on. Helles was introduced in
late 1800´s as the German answer to Pilsner’s overwhelming success.
Differences aside: today these two blonde lager-beers together are the
absolutely most sold beers in the world – both known for their easyto-
drink qualities, crispiness and meticulous brewing.
Stallhagen combined in Summery Helles Pils the best characteristics of
both styles and created a superbly fresh and balanced thirst quencher for
the heath of the summer. Unfiltered, light golden yellow with a white, thick
head. In the aroma pleasant malt with herbal and citrusy notes. Mouthfeel
is light. In the taste hops and malt fuse into an enjoyable wholeness with
rounded herbal, flowery and fruity tones. Finish is dry and crispy.
